Inception for TeraCodes was generated by a desire to present publicly available data such as zip codes and telephone area codes in a simple, usable manner so as not to litter the data with annoying and unwanted distractions. This program continues to evolve as we find new sources of data and means in which to present it to you.
Our mission is to provide you with access to the most accurate and up-to-date information that is publicly available. Our data comes from several sources including the North American Numbering Plan Administration (NANPA) for area code information and the U.S. Census, including the Decennial Census, the American Community Survey, Annual Survey of Manufacturers, Commodity Flow Survey and others.
